Melisa Mendez serves as the Deputy Director at the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research at Baruch College. She has over 14 years of experience in Research Administration at CUNY. She started her career at Brooklyn College as a Grants Specialist before joining the SPAR team at Baruch College.

Melisa provides support to Faculty and Administrators with finding funding and developing grant proposals. She is responsible for assisting faculty with developing proposals and budgets and making sure all grant submissions are in compliance with funding agency and college guidelines.

Melisa holds a Masters of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College. She is a Certified Research Administrator.
