    Research Foundation

The criteria for determining if the Research Foundation will serve as the fiscal agent for your proposed sponsored program (this includes individual research projects as well as programs) is in accordance with the existing agreement between the Research Foundation and the City University of New York (CUNY).

    The criteria are as follows:

    1. Sponsored Programs shall be deemed to be those for which funds are made available for a specified purpose or objective and the sponsor usually requires periodic fiscal and programmatic reports; and
    2. Sponsored Programs shall be deemed to be those for which the sponsor imposes time limitations for the use of such funds; and
    3. Sponsored Programs shall be deemed to be those for which the sponsor [award agreement] ordinarily provides for the reversion of unused funds to the sponsor.
